About Us
Welcome to Wild Dandelioness Flower Farm.
I try to focus on regenerative practices here on our small quarter acre Farm in West Provo.
Growing flowers brings me such joy, and I'm so excited to be able to share that with you.

From the time I was five until I was 18 we always had a family garden that we were expected to work in, we used standard garden practices of the time. I obviously hated it at the time, but I have fond memories of sneaking over to the tomato row, and eating all the ripe cherry tomatoes. Or snacking on sugar snap peas as we weeded.
It wasn't until after a few years of living in dorms, where I moved to a place where I had a little spot that is allowed to garden that I realized how much I missed gardening. And from that day since I have always had a vegetable garden.
I also became intrigued about finding and learning all the different ways I could improve gardening. And extened my harvest season.
10 years ago me and my husband moved into a town home that had a front yard, and that was really my first time as an adult that I got to plan out flower garden. Of course as a kid I had a "flower garden" my mom let me have a little patch at the end of the garden where I grew sunflowers, zinnias, and cosmos.... And lots and lots of weeds. But this was my chance to be able to plant and buy all of those "fancy flowers"... I soon learned you had to put the right plant in the right place, and with a very small budget I soon turned to learning how to start things from seed instead of spending money on starts from The nursery.
We now live on just under a quarter acre, which my husband has graciously let me turn most of it into gardens . I love working with nature, and applying regenerative techniques to my gardening. We have nine Hugelkultur raised beds, and about a dozen inground beds. in 2021 I decided to dedicate one of those beds (in addition to my normal flower bed in my front yard) to grow specifically cut flowers so I could have flowers in the house. I soon found myself creating bouquets not just for myself, but for friends and family. With the pandemic going, I wasn't able to help people out in the ways I normally do, so I turned to flowers. It became a simple way to bring joy to people, and I loved the way their face would light up when they held my flowers.
So this year I have dedicated 90% of my grow space to growing cut flowers. And try my hand at making this a business. Because Flowers bring joy. Because connecting with the Earth heals.
I think I like being called a regenerative farmer? Or maybe a soil advocate
If I could change one thing that everybody did in the world, well obviously it have to be world Peace, but in reality it would be to have everybody composting!
